Pottery for Teens (once a week class): This class is for children 12 to 16 years of age. Students will learn wheel throwing and hand-building techniques making functional and non-fuctional objects such as bowls, mugs and plates. Very flexible class focused on the student's interests. Great creative outlet in a trephination media! Hamilton High School kids walk across the street right after school and may wait at the studio until the start of the lesson. This class is on-going and children may join at the beginning of a month (space permitting). Tuition balance is due on or before the first day of class. Echo Ceramics is offering one week pottery camps during winter and summer. Camps are for children ages 10 and up (no exceptions). Summer Camp is from 9:30 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Camp enrollment is limited to 8 students. Students need to bring their own lunch. Children will learn hand-building techniques, such as coiling and pinching pots, making objects with slabs, using an extruder and, best of all, learn how to throw on the real potters wheel! Major part of the camp is spent on the wheel and kids absolutely love it! We had parents tell us their child doesn't want to be late in the morning! That's something for a 14 year old! Please register early as camps fill up quickly.

Camps fill quickly, early registration is recommended. If a particular camp is full you may request to be put on a wait list. 50% tuition is required upon registration. Our withdrawal/cancellation policy is as follows: 50% of the camp tuition is non-refundable. If you cancel two weeks prior to the camp you will be charged 100% of the camp tuition, no exceptions. There are no makeup days for absences or for days missed and there will be no prorating of tuition for missed classes due to sickness or travel. Tuition can be paid by cash, check or a major credit card. Please make checks payable to: Echo Ceramics. Tuition balance is due on or before the morning of the first day of camp.
