Echo Ceramics has two types of programs children can be enrolled in. One is the class for teens 12 - 16 years old that meets once a week for 4 weeks. Other is the weekly summer camp for kids 9 - 15 years old. Please read the descriptions below. |

Teens for Pottery: This class is for children 12 to 16 years of age. Students will learn wheel throwing and hand-building techniques making functional and non-fuctional objects such as bowls, mugs and plates. Great creative outlet in a trephination media! This class is on-going and children may join at the beginning of a month (space permitting). Tuition balance is due on or before the first day of class. Tuesdays 4 - 5:30 PM $160 + $10 material fee per month for 4 lessons Includes all materials and firing. Practice time is one hour prior to the class time only. Limit 8 students in each class! |

Summer Camps: Echo Ceramics is offering one week pottery camps during the summer. Camps are for children ages 10 and up (no exceptions). Camp is from 9 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday (unless noted otherwise). Enrollment is limited to 8 students. Snack will be provided in the morning. Students need to bring their own lunch. Students will learn hand-building techniques, such as coiling and pinching pots, making objects with slabs, using an extruder and, best of all, learn how to throw on the real potter's wheel. Children will explore how the clay is made and how it affects their everyday life. |

Camps fill quickly, early registration is recommended. If a particular camp is full you may request to be put on a wait list. 50% tuition is required upon registration. Our withdrawal/cancellation policy is as follows: 50% of the camp tuition is non-refundable. If you cancel two weeks prior to the camp you will be charged 100% of the camp tuition, no exceptions. There are no makeup days for absences or for days missed and there will be no prorating of tuition for missed classes due to sickness or travel. Tuition can be paid by cash, check or a major credit card. Please make checks payable to: Echo Ceramics. Tuition balance is due on or before the morning of the first day of camp.
