Children Pottery/Ceramic Classes and Kids Clay Camp in Westlake Village, 91361

Our pottery/ceramic classes are hands-on instruction and meet once a week for 4 weeks.  Materials (clay and tools) and firing are provided for all classes. Enrollment is limited to insure individual instruction. 

Fun and encouraging atmosphere of our studio makes it a great learning experience for kids. Please read class descriptions below.

Students may register with adult in person, online or by phone with a credit card. Annual registration fee for classes is $20 per person payable at the studio.

Please note: no refunds or pro-ratings are given once the session has started. Absolutely no exceptions (doctor notes, vacation plans, etc. are no exceptions). If there is a change in your plans, notify us before the class begins in order to receive credit towards another class. If you miss a class you may make it up in another similar class space permitting.

		Westlake Children Clay Camps Echo Ceramics offers one week pottery camps during winter and summer. Camps are for children ages 9 and up . Average camper is 12 years old. Camp is from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday. $300 per week includes all materials and firing. Camp enrollment is limited to 8 students. Students need to bring their own lunch. Children will learn hand-building techniques, such as coiling and pinching pots, making objects with slabs, using an extruder and, best of all, learn how to throw on the real potters wheel! Major part of the camp is spent on the wheel and kids absolutely love it! We had parents tell us their child doesn't want to be late in the morning! Lots of room for creativity and self-expression and projects to take home and use every day! Kids Class Hand-building, ages 3 and up  $90 - 4 weeks

Children will learn different hand-building methods in this fun class. Projects will include cups, vases, animal banks, wind chimes, masks, clay rattles and more! The class will graduate in a bi-annual art show where children get to show off their best work to family and friends in a gallery space! All supplies and firing included. 10% sibling discount. Little kids yonger than 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Mommy and Me: $110 - 4 weeks

Bring your little one for their first "taste" of clay! Lots of different projects, from making hand and foot prints to making wall pieces for the little one's room. Mom and kid get to make a project together or separately. 10% sibling discount. Clay and firing included.

Birthday Parties

Our birthday party rate is $380 for groups of up to 10 kids. Each additional child is $30. This includes up to 2 hours with an instructor, all supplies, materials and firing. Final work will be available for pick up within 10 -14 days. Kids can do wheel or hand-building projects. If you want to bring cake or food, you will have 45 minutes after the instruction.
